Peter Khalil, the federal member for Wills, has announced that he is hosting a stakeholder forum to coincide with the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in his electorate of Wills.
Joining Mr Khalil will be Federal Labor Leader and one of the architects of the NDIS, Bill Shorten, as well as another very special guest still to be announced.
Labor created the National Disability Insurance Scheme and has committed to protecting its funding under a future Shorten Government.
This forum will provide an opportunity for organisations and individuals involved with the NDIS to ask questions and engage on this important policy area.
The event will be held at 11:00am on 15 March 2018 at the Pascoe Vale Neighbourhood Facility, at Prospect Street, Pascoe Vale.
The NDIS is currently being introduced region-by-region and will become available in the Hume-Moreland Region, which includes Mr Khalil’s electorate of Wills, from March 2018.
