Applications are now open for the Wills Youth Advisory Committee (WYAC).
The WYAC gives Wills residents aged 15-25 a seat at the table when it comes to decision making and policy creation that affects young people.
Climate change, youth unemployment, mental health and wellbeing, cuts to schools, TAFE and universities, the rise of insecure work and wage theft mean it’s more important than ever to give a voice to our young people in the Parliament.
The first Wills Youth Advisory Committee met monthly in my Coburg office and engaged with me directly about issues impacting young people. During a successful year, the Committee produced a guide for young workers which is available to download here.
Apply for the 2020 Wills Youth Advisory Committee here. Applications close 16 March 2020 at 5pm.
Residents of Wills aged 15-25 are encouraged to apply. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact my office on (03) 9350 577 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
