The Wills Youth Advisory Committee was first formed in April 2018 as a way to give young people in Wills a seat at the table when it comes to youth affairs and policy.
Youth unemployment, mental health and well being, cuts to schools, TAFE and university and the rise of insecure work and wage theft mean it’s more important than ever to give a voice to our young people in the Parliament.
The committee is made up of 14 residents in Wills from a diverse range of backgrounds, aged 15-25.
The 2018/2019 Wills Youth Advisory Committee have completed their guide to young workers and it is available to download here or you can request a paper version by contacting my office.
Applications for the next Wills YAC will be open in early 2020.
