Together with the Wills Youth Advisory Committee, I wanted to invite you to a special online event with the Shadow Minister for Youth, Amanda Rishworth MP.

Whether it be employment, education, housing or other matters, the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately impacted young people across Australia.

I want to give you the opportunity to ask questions, share your experience and engage in conversation about the issues you care about and how the federal government should be better supporting young people through this crisis.

I also want to hear from you about your vision for a post COVID-19 Australia. Although it feels so far away at the moment, we have a once in a generation opportunity to tackle important issues that you and I know have been challenges long before the pandemic.

We should be rebuilding a better and fairer Australia by taking meaningful action on climate change, creating secure, well-paid jobs and properly funding our universities and Tafes and so much more.
